What Is Sic Bo?
Sic Bo is a traditional Chinese game played with three six-sided dice. It is also known by names such as Tai Sai or Big and Small. Instead of making decisions after the roll, players select an outcome before the betting timer closes.
The betting layout covers totals and dice combinations. Common selections include Small, Big, a specific total, a chosen double, a chosen triple, any triple, a pair of different numbers and a single number appearing one or more times.
Three dice create 216 equally likely ordered combinations when the dice are fair. Some selections cover many combinations and usually pay less; others cover only one or a few combinations and usually show a larger payout. A larger payout does not mean better value or a higher chance of winning.
This YY777 Sic Bo game guide is educational. It does not confirm that Sic Bo, a live dealer, a specific paytable, stake limit or mobile feature is available on YY777. Always read the rules shown on the actual table.
Filipino users should verify the exact domain through PAGCOR Guarantee before registering, signing in or paying. This page is not proof that YY777 is licensed or authorized.

Eight Common Sic Bo Bets and Probabilities
The examples below describe common rules. Payouts and triple treatment vary, so the table’s displayed rules always control.
| Bet | Winning Outcome | Probability Note | Common Payout Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big | Total of 11–17, normally excluding any triple | 105 of 216 outcomes when triples lose | Often 1:1 |
| Small | Total of 4–10, normally excluding any triple | 105 of 216 outcomes when triples lose | Often 1:1 |
| Specific Total | The three dice add to one selected total | Chance varies from 3 to 27 combinations | Varies by total |
| Specific Double | A selected pair, such as two 4s, appears | Check whether a matching triple qualifies | Often around 8:1–11:1 |
| Specific Triple | One exact triple, such as 5-5-5 | 1 of 216 outcomes | Often around 150:1–180:1 |
| Two-Number Combination | Both selected different numbers appear | 30 of 216 outcomes | Often around 5:1–6:1 |
| Single Number | A selected face appears once, twice or three times | 91 of 216 outcomes appear at least once | Commonly 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 |
| Any Triple | Any of the six triples appears | 6 of 216 outcomes | Often around 24:1–30:1 |

How a Sic Bo Round Works
Use this five-step check to follow a round without rushing. If a selection or confirmation is unclear, do not continue.
Verify Eligibility and the Domain
Confirm that you are at least 21 and not otherwise restricted. Check the exact site through PAGCOR Guarantee before creating an account or sending money.
Read the Paytable and Set Limits
Check the available bets, payouts, triple exceptions and table minimum. Set a smaller personal loss limit in pesos and a session end time before the round.
Place and Confirm the Selection
Choose the betting area before the countdown closes. Confirm the accepted selection and amount instead of assuming that a late tap was recorded.
Watch the Three-Dice Result
The dice are shaken or rolled and the three faces are revealed. The system calculates their total and identifies relevant doubles, triples or combinations.
Review Settlement and Stop on Time
Check the result, round ID and account record. Leave at the preset time or peso limit, whether the selection wins or loses.
Before the Dice Roll
- Verify 21+ eligibility and provider authorization
- Read the triple rule for Big and Small
- Check payouts and table limits
- Set personal peso and time limits
- Confirm the accepted selection before betting closes
What to Check on a Sic Bo Table
The actual interface should make the round and paytable understandable. Availability of these details must be checked on the verified service.
Dice and Result Display
The three final faces and their total should be clear. In a live version, video helps follow the roll, while the official system result controls settlement.
Betting Timer
Look for open, closing and closed states. A wager submitted after the deadline may be rejected even if the video feed appears delayed.
Paytable and Triple Rule
Confirm every payout and whether any triple causes Big or Small to lose. Never rely on a payout remembered from another Sic Bo version.
Table Limits
Read the minimum and maximum for the table and each bet type. A table minimum is not a recommended stake and may exceed a personal limit.
Mobile Layout and Connection
On a phone, keep the full selection, amount and timer visible. Pause after a network warning instead of repeating an instruction.
Round History and Support
Use history to verify a round ID and settlement, not to predict the next roll. Save the relevant record if the result and balance do not match.
Sic Bo Probability, Not a Winning System
Each fair three-dice roll has 216 ordered outcomes. Previous totals do not change the probability of the next roll, so a number that has not appeared recently is not “due.” A history board describes the past only.
Under common rules, Big covers 11–17 and Small covers 4–10, but any triple loses. Each selection then wins on 105 of 216 outcomes, or about 48.61%. At a 1:1 payout, that produces a mathematical house edge of about 2.78%.
Specific totals and triples cover fewer outcomes and normally offer larger payouts. The larger number can look attractive, but it comes with a much lower hit rate and may still include a larger house advantage.
No staking pattern—doubling after a loss, alternating Big and Small, copying other players or following recent rolls—changes the underlying dice probability. Increasing the stake only increases the money at risk.
Do
- Read the complete paytable
- Check the Big/Small triple exception
- Use a fixed peso loss limit
- Set a firm stopping time
- Keep the round ID when needed
Do Not
- Treat previous rolls as a prediction
- Double the stake to recover losses
- Borrow or use essential money
- Assume a high payout means good value
- Use an unverified provider
Remember
Random results do not form a reliable pattern. Knowing the probability helps explain risk, but it cannot turn Sic Bo into an income source or guarantee a winning round.
Responsible Gaming for Sic Bo
Fast dice rounds can encourage repeated wagers. Decide the limits before play, not after money has been lost.
Protect Essential Money
Never use money for food, rent, bills, healthcare, tuition, savings or debt. Use only disposable entertainment money.
Set a Stopping Time
Choose the end time before the first roll. Leave when it arrives, even if another round opens immediately.
21+ and Eligible Only
PAGCOR lists persons under 21 and other restricted groups as not allowed to gamble. Protect accounts and payments from minors.
Never Chase Losses
Do not increase the stake, add more selections or borrow money to recover a loss. Stop and ask for help early.
If Gambling Is Causing Harm
Stop, remove access to payment methods and tell someone you trust. Read the YY777 Responsible Gaming guide and review PAGCOR’s self- and family-exclusion process.
